Evening Primrose is an extraordinarily beautiful flower whose corolla only opens at nightfall. A spring flower native to South America, evening primrose was introduced in Europe in the 18th century. This wild flower attracts bees and butterflies, along with sparrows and other little birds that love to feed on its seeds, which are extremely rich in oil. From these little seeds, a rare and precious oil is extracted by cold pressing: Evening Primrose Oil.
