Simple Tried-and-True Tips for Youthful Eyes!

Spa going clients are always looking for tips that add value to their skincare regimen.  Here are some simple experts tips that have been tried time and over again.

As many of you already know, the skin around the eyes is particularly thin and delicate, so it’s important to do more than just protect it with skincare products.  Here are some valuable tips from the experts at DECLÉOR to help brighten your eyes and maintain your youth!

Tip no. 1: start by planning some good nights’ sleep, uninterrupted by the phone ringing or backlogs of work: it is at night that our skin regenerates, it needs to complete its cycle, in particular since the eye contour area is very sensitive to lack of sleep, causing unsightly dark lines and circles.

Tip no. 2: we keep saying it all the time, but we can never say it enough, water, water and more water! Make sure you drink enough water, starting in the morning: a big glass of water as soon as you get out of bed makes up for dehydration of the cells overnight and helps to plump up the epidermis.

To stay hydrated, you can also drink green tea (low in caffeine and rich in antioxidants) or different fruit juices which also provide you with excellent vitamins for the skin!  However, be careful, concentrated fruit juices often contain little nutritional value and have added sugar.

Tip no. 3: Protect your skin from the sun (protective sun creams, hat, etc.) and above all avoid spending long periods in the sun as this is one of the main causes of premature aging of the skin, reflected in dryness and crows’ feet at the corners of the eyes.

Armed with these expert insider tips, you now have some valuable tips to keep your eyes youthful and bright!
